Zeb Johnson was born on June 24, 1943 in Berryville, Arkansas. He graduated from Berryville High School in 1961. He met and married his wife of 53 years Verna Head on February 20, 1967

He is preceded in death by his father Isaac and his mother Elbie and his sisters Stella and Carmina his brothers Hillard, Denver, Dimpy and Harvey.

He is survived by his wife Verna Johnson; son Todd Johnson, of Dodge City, Kansas; daughters Tammy Johnson and Crystal Wetter and son in-law Steve Wetter of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren Dustin, Brandon, Korey, Dakota, Aspen, Trenton and Chandler; as well as several great-grandchildren.

The grandchildren will have many found memories of their Papa one of them being every Christmas Eve he would take them out for a drive to spot Rudolph's nose.

Zeb spent a great deal of his life as a home builder and woodworker. He was very well regarded in the area for his skills in home remodeling which were reflected in his business Quality Homes by Zeb Johnson. He took great pride with working with his hands and he passed those skills on to many others.

Zeb also enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was always one to joke and act silly especially when he was with his sister Stella they were always doing something to make each other and everyone laugh.

Zeb accepted Christ as his Savior in 1981, and we share in the promise that we will see him again.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at a later date in Maple Park Cemetery.
