On May 20, 2022, Zach left this earth and is now embarking on a new path, one of stellar wonderment.

Zachary Thomas Young, 46 years of age, was born October 14, 1975 in Springfield MO to Luci March and Thomas James (TJ) Young.

Zach had many talents but was most passionate about music and skateboarding. As a lover of music, he was a standout musician in the Springfield music scene that spanned many years and numerous bands.

He was also a long-time presence in the local skateboarding scene. From the back yard skate sessions at friends' homes to the local skatepark.

Zach left behind two wonderful kids, Ryder age 17 and Hendrix age 9, whom Zach literally loved more than life itself.

Zach is survived by his mother Luci March, husband Jim; father TJ Young, wife Jennifer; sister Emmilee Thomason, husband Brian. He had one stepbrother Eric Johnson, wife Megan and stepsister Emily Johnson as well as many loved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation and service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, May 31 ^st , 2022, at Eastlawn Cemetery.
