Wilma Melton, 92, of Springfield passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born February 18, 1921 to Menzo and Ada McKee in Iberia, MO. Wilma was a longtime member of Church of Christ in Springfield. She worked many years for Lilly Tulip and after retiring, she loved to sew and read. Wilma is survived by a brother-in-law, George Casey and 2 nieces, Cindy Casey of Springfield and Janie Rose of Russellville, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Melton and sister, Omega Casey. Arrangements are under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home and, at her request, no service will be held.
