Wilma M. Hellyer, 96, Springfield, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 in Quail Creek. She was born September 6, 1927 in Corydon, Iowa, the daughter of Dollie and I.G. Rush.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hellyer, daughter, Melinda Wilsey, son, William J. Hellyer, grandson, Christopher Pace and great-grandson, William J. Pace.

Wilma is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Bill) Mallory, Jefferson City, MO and Jo Ann Runner, Springfield; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be held in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phoenix Hospice, Springfield, MO.
