Willie "Papa" Lee Williams, age 68, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 22nd, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri. Willie was born February 15, 1958, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Lee and Jennie V. "Betty" Williams. Willie was a proud member of the Zodiacs Motorcycle Club. He also proudly served his country for six years as a member of the United States Marine Corps, Semper Fi.

He is preceded in death by his ex-wife, Nancy, of Springfield, Missouri; his mother, Jennie V., of Springfield, Missouri; his father, Lee, of Lachute, Louisiana; and his brother, Ronnie, of Springfield, Missouri.

Willie is survived by his children, Tahrena Williams, Treanna Giles, Tylesha Williams, Tre Williams, Tevin Williams, Breanna Moore, Jasmine Carr, and Laura Moad; his siblings, Ruthie, Ruby, Shirley, Fred, Ebony, Delores, Misty, Demaris, Lee, and Leana; and his spouse, Kathy Moad.

Willie was known and loved by everyone that had the pleasure of getting to know him. There wasn't a store he walked into where he wasn't happily greeted by a friend. He was truly the "Life of the Party" and always the "Main Character." He had a laugh nobody could match, dance moves out of this world, and a smile that melted hearts. He will be truly missed by everyone that knew and loved him.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 14, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 15, starting at 2:00 PM, at Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home. The family will host a repast following the funeral service.
