William Harold Northcutt, 72, passed away February 21, 2010 after a brief illness. He was born in Purdy, Mo., and attended school in Miller and Monett. He was a 1964 graduate of Pittsburg State University. Harold and Judy (nee' McVicker) were married May 4, 1968, in Nevada, Mo. He was employed by the MO division of vocational Rehabilitation, retiring from the Springfield office after 37 years. Harold was preceded in death by his father and step-father, and survived by his wife, Judy; mother, Alieene Mathis; son Sean and wife Cindy, and grandson Sean. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. in Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Homes. Friends and family will be received in the home following the service.
