William Frederick (Bill) Karow II, M.D., age 75, of Springfield died at home February 5, 2012, of cancer. Born March 9,1936 in Duluth, Minnesota; the only child of Kenneth Frederick and Florence Annie (Nicholls) Karow, by whom he was predeceased. He is survived by 4 children, 7 grandchildren, numerous friends, and an African Gray parrot. Rather than formal services, private celebrations of life will be held. In lieu of memorials, please donate to the AIDS Project of the Ozarks or Mercy Hospice.
