William E. Hasler JR.

William E. Hasler was preceded in death by his parents William E. Hasler SR., and Betty Celeste Hilgedick. Bill is survived by his wife Suzanne and two children Kristi (and son Jackson) and William E. Hasler III (wife, Jane), and their son William E. Hasler IV (Quaid), and daughter Emree. One brother Thomas (Judi) Hasler and children Bradford (wife, Laura, children Hunter and Olivia), Jennifer (children Logan, Rae, Lachlan) and Lindsay (son Carson).

Bill had a B.S. from Missouri State University and a master’s degree from Pittsburgh State University. He joined the Missouri National Guard in 1966, where he served for 23 years. He was employed by several different manufacturing companies as personnel manager. He then changed his career path in 1995 and became an LSW (Licensed Social Worker) and did private counseling. He was also employed by the Nevada Public School system, later moving to Springfield, MO. He was then employed by the Springfield Public School system as a process coordinator until his retirement. He continued to teach for the University of Phoenix online.

He was an avid golfer and was consumed by his family. At Bill’s request, no funeral is planned. Online condolences may be made at www.gormanscharpf.com.
