IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Wesley Ray
Wise
February 1, 1983 – June 25, 2019
Wesley Ray Wise, age 36, passed away in Deerfield Beach, Florida on June 25, 2019. He was born February 1, 1983, the son of Dan and Sally Wise. He graduated from Glendale High School and attended Drury University.
Wesley was an avid St . Louis Cardinals fan and loved being with family and friends at Busch Stadium. He enjoyed traveling and especially living close to the beach. One of his favorite hobbies was cooking, whether in the kitchen or on the grill. Wesley had a contagious smile and found joy in spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered to many as that "fun guy" that enjoyed making his family and friends smile. He had a personality that could light up a room and a laugh to cheer anyone up. Wesley had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way and sometimes he was too smart for his own good with his advice, but then again isn't that why we loved our Wesley. He was brave, strong and courageous. Wesley will be greatly missed every day.
One of Wesley's many quotes that we choose to remember him by, "This is dedicated to every human being who looks different, feels different, and thinks differently. I see you. I feel you. I am you. Stay different. Our world needs the difference we will make."
Wesley is survived by his greatest joy, his son, Parker Dean Wise of Springfield, Missouri, his parents, Dan and Sally Wise of Springfield, Missouri, his siblings Justin Wise and Allison Wise-Schnitzer and husband Steven of Springfield, Missouri, his nieces Gabriella and Adrianna Wise of Springfield, Missouri, many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.
In memory of Wesley, please join family and friends for a Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 20, 2:30-5:00pm at Metropolitan Grill.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to C.A.R.E. (Castaway Animals Rescue Effort) at 1328A W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. Wesley had a strong passion for helping animals in need and this is where he rescued his dog, Baxter.
