Wesley Brandt Lewis, 58, of Rogersville, Mo., passed away suddenly on Saturday, August 20,2022. He was born on December 17, 1963 in Dallas, Texas to Charles and Marilyn Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles and mother, Marilyn, and his grandparents, Ed and Lola Stanley and Golda Lewis. He was also preceded in death by his uncle and aunt, Ed and Edwina Stapp as well as his uncle and aunt, Donald and Carol Anne Garrett as well as their two daughters (cousins) Donna and Susan.
He is survived by his loving husband, Steve Arvizu; children, Madelyn Rogier and her husband, David and grandchildren, Warren, Herschel, and Willa (on the way); Adam Lewis and his wife, Abby. He is also survived by his sister, Charla Dukewits and her husband, Jerome; his nephew, Josh Dukewits and his wife Amy and their children, Myla and Mason. His Niece, Lindsay Busch and her husband, Steven, and their children, Emerson, and Knighton; his sister, Debe Trent and her sons, Richard Voss, and Rusty Voss. Steve's siblings loved Wes, as well as his nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Wes loved his life and made the most of each and every day. He loved Steve with everything he had to give and he loved his family and friends. Wes had an undying love for music, food and entertaining. He loved to cook and share his recipes and food with family and friends whenever possible. We were all blessed to have known him. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation and a celebration of life will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, 1947 E. Seminole St. on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. A reception will follow the visitation at Wes and Steve's friends house.
