Obituary

Warren Thomas Dunham, 82, passed away after a short illness Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Cox South Hospital. He was born June 7, 1930, in Nixa, Missouri, the son of Ross and Edna (Warren) Dunham. He served honorably in the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member of South Haven Baptist Church and The Gideons. His greatest talent was simply his personality; affable and warm to friends and strangers alike. He loved telling jokes and stories. Warren is survived by his wife Nancy, and three children; Carol Carlson of UT, Christopher Dunham of CO, and Connie Martin of CO. Also surviving are his sister, Phyllis (Dunham) Cummins, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Etta Jean Farley and Becky Pierson, and granddaughter Mia Nicole Dunham. He valued most his faith, family, and heritage, and has left an endearing legacy. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the CVICU team at Cox South Hospital. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2013, from 10-11am in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11am in the funeral home with The Reverend Ryan Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
