Wantha F. Hutchinson, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas E. Brown was born in Springfield, MO on May 9th, 1926. She departed this life on November 23, 2023.

On November 20 th , 1948 she married David Allen Hutchinson and to this union five children were born.
Her husband, parents, three sisters, two brothers and two sons preceded her in death.

In 1948 after David and Wantha married, she joined Washington Ave Baptist Church where she served
faithfully for many years. She later attended Hope Church in Springfield, MO along with her daughter
and caretaker, San.
Wantha worked as a seamstress and loved sewing for others. She operated the tailor shop at Marx
Clothing for many years.
She leaves to celebrate her going home to her Heavenly Father, her only daughter, three sons, and a
host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister and brother-in-law as well
as many loving friends.

Just close your eyes love and you will see
All the memories you have of me.
Sit and relax and you will find
I'm really there inside your mind.
Don't cry for me now that I'm gone
For I am with my Heavenly Father in the land of song.
There is no pain, no fear, so dry away that silent tear.
Don't think of me in the dark and cold, for I am no longer old.
I'm in that place filled with Jesus' love, known to you all as 'up above'.

Visitation will be at 10:00 am with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Hope Church 2121 S. Blackman Road, Springfield, MO 65809.
