Wanda Eilene Rueter, age 91, of Springfield, MO joined her Savior on Saturday, March 26, 2016. She was born October 17, 1924 in Taneyville, MO to Tullie and Bethalena (Beal) Reynolds. She was the oldest of eleven children.

She graduated Forsyth High School in 1942, attended SMS Teachers College in Springfield, MO and began her teaching career at Taneyville. She married Rudolph Robert Rueter on Christmas Day 1946.

Wanda returned to SMSU to complete her Bachelor and Masters degrees and taught fourth grade at Ash Grove for 25 years, retiring at age 70. Wanda was active in the First Baptist Church choir and various children's ministries.

Her husband, Rudolph; sisters, Rose Reynolds and Eleanor Fagan; and brother, Marion Reynolds precede Wanda in death.

She is survived by her sons, Rodney and wife Jumi, Pryor, OK, Perry and wife Hart, Dallas, TX and Robert and wife Barbara, Ozark, MO; eight grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren; siblings, Jasper Reynolds and wife Zetta, Patricia Crouch and husband John, Bethalena Paschke and husband Ray, Jamie Reynolds and wife Sherry, Richard Reynolds and wife Judy, Michael Reynolds, Larry Reynolds and wife Shirley.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. and Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
