Wanda Conner was born February 12, 1928, to Winfred and Lucy Garrett of Fordland, MO. She slipped into the arms of Jesus at the age of 86 on February 14, 2014. Wanda married her High School sweetheart and moved to Imperial, NE to start their family. Wanda worked as a beautician and had a shop in her home for 61 years. She retired at the age of 79. Wanda was very active in the lives of her family. She especially loved going to sporting events for her grandchildren. She was also an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. Wanda was preceded in death by her husband Gordon and her parents. She is survived by three children; Linda Cox and Husband Mike of Columbia, Phil Conner of Rogersville, and Pat Conner of Nixa, five grandchildren; Mike Conner and wife Elayna, Brad Letterman and Kaysi, April Sims and Michael, Lisa Nelson and husband Keith, Shannon Sims and wife Jessica, and three great grandchildren; Garrett, Cooper, and Kylie. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, February 17, 2014 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
