Vonda Maxine Jones passed away October 23, 2010 at The Gardens in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on September 26, 1922 in Nixa, Missouri to Harry and Appie Walker. She attended school in Christian and Lawrence County, Missouri. She was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ and retired from Lily-Tulip Cup Corporation in 1985. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dayton H. Jones; sisters Nola Faucett and Blanche Carter; brothers Earl and Ward Walker. She is survived by her son Danny Ray Jones of Springfield, MO.; nieces Barbara (Jack) Warren of Kansas City, MO., Janice (Dick) Wilson of Springfield, MO.; sister-in-law Imogene (Floyd) Foster of Neosho, MO; brother-in-law Larry (Barbara) Jones of Bolivar, MO.; cousins, friends and caregivers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2010 in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1 - 2 p.m. on Friday. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
