Virginia (Noland) Stahl Waigand, 90, Springfield, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was born April 28, 1925 in Lebanon, Illinois, the daughter of Louis R. and Louisa (Schmitt) Noland.

Virginia married Hartwell L. Stahl on April 16, 1949 in Lebanon, IL. She later married Lavern Edward Waigand on September 10, 1994 in Springfield, MO. Both of her husbands preceded her in death.

In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her son, Larry Noland Stahl and her brother, Shirley J. Noland.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Peggy Ann Stahl McGinn and her husband, Charles, Carl Junction, MO; grandchildren, Christine Marie Stahl (Travis) Emmons, Marian Jon Stahl (Richard) Chamberlain, Alexander Scott Aiken (Brandie) and Aaron McGinn; and great-grandchildren, Megan Emmons, Brooke Emmons, Brandon Emmons, Cauley Hartwell Chamberlain, Celia Virginia Chamberlain, Ethan Alexander Aiken; and step-grandchildren, Christopher McGinn (Callie) and their son Cavan, Chad McGinn (Heather) and their children Kindal and Kinsey.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, February 26, 2016 in the chapel of the Manor at Elfindale. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 in College Hill Cemetery, Lebanon, Illinois, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Springfield, MO.
