Virginia Beth McManus, 76 of Springfield, Missouri passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in Cox South Hospital. She was born January 14, 1934 in Bradleyville, Missouri to William George and Argie Pierce Manley. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Bailey McManus and two sisters, Jeanette Krebbs and Francine Hicks. She is survived by eight nieces and nephews including a special niece, Mary Beth Duff of Springfield. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Mary Allen and Bette Feagan, her friend Dale Day, her beloved dog Winnie and other extended family. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in Springfield National Cemetery under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.
