Virginia Bee Crump Houska, born July 3, 1931, left this life on December 29, 2018, to join her beloved husband of 55 years, Dennis Theodore Houska, for another New Year's Eve dance.

During her 87 years, Ginny played many roles including daughter, sister, beautiful bride to Dennis, Mom, Grandma Ginny, Grandma Houska and Aunt Bee. Ginny was a wonderful artist and homemaker who made every special occasion wonderful. She loved taking care of her family and making sure they were happy, healthy, and well fed.  She loved playing Wahoo and took much pleasure in teasing Dennis when she won (which was most of the time), and she loved her Rocky Road ice cream.

She is survived by so many who loved her including her children: Charles Houska and wife Marina, who gave her a wonderful home in the final months of her life, Cheryl Houska Foraker, Michael Houska and wife Jan, Debbie Houska, Kim Houska Allen, and honorary daughter Suzanne Jones, as well as her 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to St. Jude's Hospital.  The family will be holding a private service at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
