Virgilia Ann Walker, 81, of Springfield, passed away October 8, 2023. She was born in Springfield on May 28, 1942 to Virgil and Mary (Jackson) Arnold.

She attended Parkview High School, where she met her future husband, Paul. Later, she attended Draughn's Business College. She worked for Missouri State in Family Services for 26 years. Church and Sunday School were important to her. She enjoyed travel, gardening, knitting and puzzles. In her spare time, she also enjoyed skiing, tennis, golf and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Paul; sister, Lera McDermott; 6 children and 13 grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, October 13, 2023 at Schweitzer Church. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Burial will be at 1:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.

Virgilia was a beautiful, caring young lady. Her charm and beauty will be missed by all who knew her.
