Vincent Anthony Cacioppo, 75, of Springfield, Missouri went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 5, 2017. Vincent passed away with his loving family by his side, including his beloved wife Celeste.

Vincent was born in 1941 in Suffern, NY to Anthony & Anne Cacioppo. He was a long time resident of Springfield where he retired from Sweetheart Cup Company in 2003. He was also a proud patriot and Veteran of the US Air Force, a Columbia University graduate, a member of the IEEE, (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers) the American Legion and Southern Heights Bible Church.

In his spare time, Vincent loved to write music and play the piano/organ for anyone who would listen. He was tutored by renowned classical organist Virgil Fox and was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School of the Arts. However, he was unable to attend due to familial commitments.  If Vincent wasn't playing at home or at church, he loved to share his talents playing at various nursing homes throughout the community.

Vincent was a strong, Godly man who loved his Lord and family deeply. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Celeste, his six beloved children- daughter, Victoria Amor and family of Kansas, son, William Cacioppo and family of South Carolina, daughter Christina Vandale and family of New York, daughter Danielle Chavez and family of Arizona, daughter, Celeste O'Neill and family of California and daughter Laurel Avery and family of the Netherlands. He is also the proud and loving Grandfather/Great Grandfather to 26 beautiful grandchildren.

Vincent was loved as much as he loved and he will be missed by all who knew him.  However, we take comfort in knowing that our piano man is rejoicing in Heaven with his greatest of audiences.

Graveside memorial services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Maple Park Cemetery at 10am.
