Verannette (Ann) Hornback Varner, 66, passed away on July 28, 2017 in Springfield, Missouri, at Cox South with her family by her side.

She was a member of Central Christian Disciples of Christ.

Ann is preceded in death by her father, Donald Wayne Hornback, and her mother, Billie Maxine Fancher-Hornback.

She is survived by her husband, Erine Varner; her son, Christopher Varner and wife Holly, with grandsons Robert and Braeden; her son, Farris Varner and wife Jennifer, with granddaughters LaShelle and Lilly all of Springfield, Missouri.  She is also survived by her brothers, Charles Hornback with wife Sue, and Tom Hornback with wife Rhonda, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 in Clear Creek Cemetery at 11 AM, with Pastor Lance Ogden officiating under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5 PM to 7 PM on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 in the Funeral Home.
