Vera Nadine Chowning was born April 10th, 1936 to Everett Glen and Mary Elizabeth (Carr) Chowning.

Vera was the oldest of 5 and grew up with her siblings (Thelma, Edith, Kay & Glen Chowning) in Mountain View, Missouri. She met the love of her life Robert C Moger II, and they eloped in Hernando, Mississippi on St. Patrick's Day in 1956.

Vera was a strong, caring and brilliant woman.

She graduated from St. Louis Community College with her Associates Degree, while taking care of her family. Vera enjoyed adventures, whether it was trying new restaurants or her fond travels with her late husband Bob. She was known amongst friends and family for her delicious foods and desserts, and you would find her trying new recipes or making her infamous 'Green Beans'.

Vera and Bob have 3 children Vicki (Jon) Hutcheson, Robert (Nancy) Moger III and David (Michelle) Moger. Each of their children had 3 children: JR Hutcheson (Emily), Ryan Hutcheson (Kizzi), Lauren Brooke (Jesse); Victoria (Jon) Sprenger, Kelsie (Jared) Fannon, R. C. (Joanna) Moger; Kate, Elise and Zach Moger. 10 great grandchildren have entertained their lives since 2014.

Vera joins her husband Bob in eternal heaven to rest together.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM, with Funeral Service following at 11:00 AM, at Wesley United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery.
