Velma Cain (Mansbridge) Stockstill passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Quail Creek in Springfield, MO. She was born October 15, 1917 the daughter of John H. and Alora (Hance) Cain.

She gave her heart to God early in life and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

Velma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Everett and Emmitt; sisters Ethel, Beaulah, Jewell, Norma and Virgie; and first husband Roy Mansbridge in 1974. Her and Roy owned a business in Rolla, MO. In 1988, she married Sanford Stockstill, who precedes her death as well. She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Velma's family wishes to thank everyone who loved and were kind to her.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 10 to 11:00 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Joe P. Fahl officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
