Truman "Charles" Maloney, age 85 of Nixa, MO passed away at 2:30 p.m. in Cox South in Springfield, MO. He was born October 8th, 1934 in Laredo, MO, the son of Truman Carl Maloney and Mary Elizabeth (Fullerton) Maloney. Charles served his country in the U.S. army Stationed in Hawaii. On May 20, 1962 he and Doris Marie Spradling were united in marriage. Charles was a hard worker that enjoyed his career in pipefitting and plumbing and loved to work outdoors.
He was a member of the Local 178 Plumbers and Pipefitters union for more than fifty years, and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist church in Nixa.
"Charles" was preceded in death by: his parents, Truman and Mary Maloney, brothers Edwin Maloney and Paul Maloney, and sisters Virginia Ratliff and Mary Jane Maloney.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Maloney of Nixa, MO, his Son Larry and wife Jennifer Maloney and grandsons Tyler and Parker Maloney all of Branson West, MO. "Charles" is also survived by his sisters Allene Maloney of Trenton, MO, Barbra Hague of Columbia, MO, his brother James Maloney of Trenton, MO and his sister Helen Frisbie also of Trenton, MO, as well as many other nieces, nephews, and relatives.
