Truman passed away on Monday evening, January 21st, 2013, in the loving arms of his family. Born on July 29th, 1929, in Mountain View, Missouri, he grew up in West Plains, Missouri. Truman proudly spent his entire career in broadcast television, putting KY3 on the air in October of 1953. He worked at KY3 for 43 years, where he served as Chief Engineer from the mid 1980's until his retirement in 1996. He loved all things technical and spending time with his many friends and family. With much devotion and extreme compassion his wife, Edith, lovingly cared for him in the comfort of their home for the last two years. His daughters, Susan and Janet, along with their husbands were always there for him and their mother. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Arthur Krumholz; his mother, Alice Rose Krumholz; and his cousin, Truell Harrison, who was like a brother to him. Truman is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Edith Bowers Krumholz; daughter Susan Krumholz Williams and her husband Richard; daughter Janet Krumholz Sergo and her husband Andy; grandson Matthew Tindell and his wife Jackie; grandson Joshua Rebstock and his wife Laura; great-grandson Alexander Truman Tindell; cousin Cheryl Kuzmanov and her husband Georgi; cousin Linda Clark and her husband Jim; and cousin Jeanne Austin. The family wishes to thank Season's Hospice for making it possible to care for him at home. We extend special thanks to his nurse, Pat Peterson, and aides Carissa Miller and Lisa West, who cared for him on a daily basis. Memorial contributions may be made to Season's Hospice, 1831 W. Melville Road, Springfield, Missouri, 65803. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, January 25th, in the Brentwood Chapel at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 26th, also at Brentwood Chapel. Burial will be in Rivermonte Cemetery.
