Tracy Jet Talbert passed away on Saturday December 31, 2011 surrounded by his family. He was born in Springfield, Missouri on October 22, 1960 to JE and Lola Talbert. He was a graduate of Glendale High School in 1978. Tracy later on received an accounting degree from Missouri State University. He is survived by his parents, JE and Lola Talbert, his sister Tamara Blasi, and her children Tia and CeCe; as well as a large extended family and group of friends. Tracy was a very caring and protective brother, and cared deeply for his nieces. He enjoyed watching MSU basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He fought a valiant battle with cancer and was treated by the wonderful team of doctors and staff at the Tulsa Cancer Center of America. Tracy loved the Lord and was an active lifetime member of Schweitzer United Methodist Church where he did volunteer work in the community. He will be greatly missed by his family but they find comfort knowing that he is with God and his body restored. Services will be held on Tuesday January 3, 2012 at 6 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel with a visitation following the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to C.A.R.E., 1328-A W.
