To know Thomas Patrick Worley was to know one of the most humble, hardworking individuals anyone could have the privilege of meeting. Born to Lawrence Dawe and Frances Worley on May 30, 1988, in Kansas City, Missouri, Thomas spent most of his life in the Kansas City area. Growing up in Odessa, Missouri shaped much of who Thomas became – a man of faith, strength, and unwavering commitment.

Thomas eventually moved to Springfield, Missouri, where he continued his journey until his untimely passing on November 12th, 2023. His profound faith was a cornerstone of his life, deeply rooted in his involvement with Freedom City Church. At this church, Thomas was more than a member; he was a beacon of hope and love, serving and embracing the community as though they were his own kin. His spiritual journey was further highlighted by his accomplishment as a 2022 graduate of the Hope Homes program. Here, he immersed himself in street evangelism, strengthening his relationship with God and earnestly helping others to find their spiritual path.

Thomas' passion wasn't confined to his spiritual pursuits. He was also an ardent supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs. His loyalty to the team mirrored his dedication in every area of his life, never missing a game and always cheering with full heart and spirit.

In every endeavor, Thomas gave one hundred percent. He approached life with a rare combination of gentleness and strength, always putting others before himself and tackling challenges with quiet resilience. His legacy is not just in the tasks he accomplished, but in the countless lives he enriched through his kindness and selfless spirit.

Thomas is preceded in death by his father and mother, Lawrence and Frances Dawe. He is survived by his son, Landyn Dawe, his sisters, Myra Bridges, Sarah Dawe, and Irish Worley, and his brother, Garry Worley.

Thomas' services will be held at 11 am on 11/17/2023 in Springfield, Missouri, with the Reverend Tim Lung officiating, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.
