IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Todd Andrew
Gibson
February 18, 1967 – April 26, 2022
Todd Andrew Gibson, 55, devoted husband, father and brother, passed away on April 26, 2022, with his wife by his side, after a short illness, in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Born on February 18, 1967 in Springfield, MO to Don and Judy Gibson, Todd grew up in Springfield, with his three younger brothers, and graduated from Kickapoo High School in 1985. He met the love of his life, Beth Gibson, through close friends, and they married on March 11th, 1995. Todd and Beth built a beautiful life together in Springfield, where they raised their two children, Sydney and Eric.
Todd cherished his family and many friends, all having amazing experiences together. He loved being outside, including: going boating on the lake, hunting at the farm, and float trips. He enjoyed his music very much, and seeing his favorite artists in concert. Sports were also a huge part of his life, going to see St. Louis Cardinals games with friends, and Kansas City Chiefs games with his wife and children. He later became a fan of Formula 1 racing, where he dreamed to visit tracks all over the country.
Todd, and his brother, Mike, started Gibco Construction together 30 years ago, where they were able to build residential homes. Todd then started investing in rental homes, where he became an avid property owner in the Springfield area.
Todd is preceded in death by his brother, Eric, and his parents, Don and Judy.
Todd is survived by his wife, Beth; their children, Sydney and Eric; brothers, Mike (Kim) Gibson, and Jon (Christi) Gibson; mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Schneider; brother-in-law, Dan (Donna) Schneider; and, nieces and nephews, Brett, Kaylee, Samantha, Jessica, Jacob, Charlie, and Nora.
