Tina Marie McBrayer of Springfield, Mo, transitioned from this life and peacefully journeyedhome on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 5:48 p.m. surrounded by family and close friends.
She was born on August 11, 1960, in Springfield Mo. She graduated from Central High School in1978. She worked at Litton Industries from 1988 until1993 then at West Rock (formally Stone Container) from 1993 to 2021.
Tina was a life-long active member of the former Timmons Temple COGIC, now Sanctuary ofPraise COGIC, where she was truly loved and cared for by her church family. She lovedworking in her church and spending time with her family and friends. Her laugh and sense ofhumor was contagious, and she was always a joy to be around.
Tina was married to Johnny McBrayer and to this union her beloved and only son Anthony Eugene McBrayer was born. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend to all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank James & Marie Jane McDaniel, grandparents, George & Evelyn Youngblood, sister, Evelyn "Carole" Woods, brother, James MichaelMcDaniel, and mother-in-law, Dolly McBrayer, who was dear to her heart.
Tina leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, her loving son Anthony McBrayer, granddaughter Tiana Marie McBrayer, great-grandchildren Kha'lani and Jay'Ceon McBrayer, a sister Patricia (Bruce) Looney, brother Darryl "Pete McDaniel all from Springfield Mo; a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, church family; her Pastor & First Lady TJ & Anita Appleby, her best friend Robin Burkett; dear friends Amanda Darden, Marty Beaugard, Kayla Manning and her dog "Braxton" who fervently loved and protected her.
Visitation will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Sanctuary of Praise Church of God in Christ. Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
