Timothy E. Jackson, 61, Fordland, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018 in Cox Health.  He was born November 10, 1956 in Springfield, the son of Joe and Geneva Jackson.  After graduating from Hillcrest High School, Tim enlisted in the Army.  He spent 26 years with Advanced Concrete Company.  He was united in marriage to Lila Jackson on August 16, 1986.

Tim was an avid fisherman and hunter and had an amazing sense of humor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy.

Tim is survived by his loving wife, Lila; son, Jason Jackson and wife, Simone; two brothers and their wives, Mark and Barb Jackson, and Ed and Christine Jackson; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews that he thought the world of.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.  A private family burial with full military honors will be held at a later dater in Fordland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with medical costs.
