Thomas F. Mallicoat was born September 25, 1932 and passed away in his home November 4, 2017.  He was the son of Alva and Bessie Mallicoat.

As a young adult, Mr. Mallicoat served time in the U.S. Navy.  He graduated from SMS (MSU) with a teaching degree and earned his Master's degree from Drury College (Univ.).  He loved golfing and fishing and time spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Carolyn of 60 years; two daughters, Jill Norment, Lenoir, NC and Julie Banasik and spouse Mike, Springfield, MO; two grandchildren, Taylor Banasik, Chicago, IL and Will Norment, Lenoir, NC; three nieces and two nephews.

The body has been cremated and there will be a graveside service only.  Graveside service will be at Maple Park Cemetery, Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 2:00 PM, under the direction of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Flight of the Ozarks.
