Thomas Leroy Campbell, 85, of Nixa, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 3, 1939, in Alta Vista, Kansas, to Louie and Gertrude Campbell.

Tom was a devoted husband, proud father, and beloved grandfather. Known for his kind and compassionate spirit, he lived a life rooted in faith, love, and dedication to his family and friends.  He built a successful career in law enforcement and service to the community for over 30 years, earning the respect and admiration of all who knew him.

In his retirement years, Tom embraced many passions. He was deeply dedicated to prayer, motorcycling, the game of golf, and dancing with his wife, Darlene.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Darlene Mae Campbell; his children, Angie Ekema and Tony Campbell and his wife, Melanie; his grandchildren, Brooke and Adam Ekema, Hudson and Harper Campbell; his siblings, Carol Schack and her husband, Dan, and Anna Campbell; and his nephews, Ehrich Bean, Geoff Bean, and Christopher Schack.

Tom will be laid to rest at Springfield Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.

Tom will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
