Theresa Anne Chappell, 77, of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 in Mercy Hospital.  She was born February 28, 1941 in Cox Medical Center North, Springfield, MO.  She was the daughter of Carl and Bonnie (Sharpe) Cunnyngham.  Theresa was raised in Bolivar and lived her adult life in Springfield.

Theresa married Charles Cyrus Chappell on October 9, 1959.  She enjoyed her grandchildren, holidays, family dinners, watching her son coach and watching her grandkids' activities.  Theresa also enjoyed traveling, golf, and Twin Oaks Country Club.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Cyrus Chappell; children, Charles Rand Chappell and wife Molly Chappell and Natalie Nan Chappell-Wood and husband Larry Wood; grandchildren, Janiesa Len Skidmore, Tiffany Anne Bracamonte, Brittany Renee Bracamonte, Natalie Brooke Perryman, Lauren Elizabeth Chappell and Paige Nicole Chappell; great-grandchildren, Reagan Kae Skidmore, Cohen Lee Smith, Aspen Charley Smith and Kreek Oakes Johnson; along with many dear friends and loved ones.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Bolivar, MO.  Visitation will be Thursday, from 6 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
