Theodore Jenkins (T.P.) as some people called him, Teddy was born May 23, 1962 in Springfield, MO to Mr. Isaac J. Jenkins and Jacqueline N. Lenore Jenkins. He was raised in Chicago IL, and Abbeville, SC. Early on in life, he and his family moved back to Springfield, MO. He attended school at Pipkin Jr. High and Central High School. He decided to get a job so he had a shoe shine stand downtown in "C. Arch Bay's" Building. Then, he started construction with the company that had a contract on Park Central Square with his dad. A few years later he went back to Chicago, IL and worked with his uncle Theodore Jenkins in his shoe shop. When he returned to Missouri, he moved to Neosho where he got a job at SunBeam. He finally moved back to Springfield to be close to his family. Theodore did get his GED and took a class at OTC. Theodore enjoyed cook outs, cook ins and fishing. He strongly believed in family values and friendship and foremost the "Master up Above." He had some bumpy roads as most of us have. He was preceded in death by his brother Isaac Jenkins III, his mother Jacqueline Jenkins, dad Isaac J. Jenkins and his sister Mrs. Lyndsey J. Mattison of Abbeville, SC. He departed from us January 30, 2013 after a short illness, and he will be deeply missed and forever be in our hearts. Theodore has left behind to mourn his sisters Claudette M. Jenkins and Elzrenia S. Jenkins (Hawkins); his fiancé Carolyn A. Cobb; his daughter, Patricia Plaster (Hansen); three grandchildren Joshua (8), Nevaeh (3) and Anthony (7 months); his nephew Jarrod S. Jenkins and his wife Holley; three great-nieces Jaylee, Jazmeine and McKenna; his nephew Stephen Ebbs; his nieces Hunter A. Jenkins and Crystal Lena Price; and a host of good friends and relatives.
