Terry Vanderpool was born on May 21, 1944 in Los Angeles, California and passed away May 8, 2016.
Terry was preceded in death by his mother, Edith Vanderpool, father, Robert Partyka, step-father, Hoyt Vanderpool and brother, Gordy Burk.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; brother, Hoyt Vanderpool, II (Nancy); sister, Sharon Quinn; son, Gordy Vanderpool; daughter, Pepper Argaez (Jose); step-son, Jamie Wheat; step-daughters, Summer Simpson (Adam) and Jennifer Wheat; grandchildren, Preston Clark, Logan Clark, Eric Vanderpool, Sydney Moser and Silas Harrison; step-brother, Bobby Partyka; step-sisters, Diane Snyder and Gail Partyka;  5 nephews; 1 great nephew; and 4 great nieces.  He loved his family so much.
Terry never knew a stranger and loved to hunt and fish and dreamed of prospecting for gold. He will be dearly missed.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 13, 2016 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
