IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terry Lee
Mayfield
December 28, 1960 – September 24, 2022
Terry Mayfield was born December 28, 1960 in Harrison, Arkansas, to Clarice Marie Lynn and William Archie Mayfield, Jr., and left us with broken hearts on September 24, 2022. He was a true country boy and loved growing up in the woods and creeks of Arkansas and Missouri. He went to school in Green Forest, Arkansas, and Republic, Missouri, then West Fork, Arkansas, making life-long friends along the way. As a young man, he packed up and moved to Colorado with his best buddy and his high school girlfriend and lived there for over thirty years until moving back to Missouri in 2011. He made his living for many years as a heavy equipment operator on projects throughout the Denver and Colorado Springs area, including inside NORAD. He was the kind of guy who found an arrowhead or awesome rock everywhere he went, and he had quite a collection of artifacts, bottles, and rocks. His passions were hunting and camping in the mountains of Colorado, fishing, Denver Broncos football, everything to do with the Arkansas Razorbacks, and ice cream. He had many good friends and beloved family in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mom, Clarice Correll, and his dad, Bill Mayfield; grandparents, Vera and Dolan Lynn, Esther Casey and William Mayfield, Sr; uncles Dewayne Keeland and Pete Lynn. He is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Paul Hilles; his nieces Lesley Beth and Onawa Lanier; half-sister Jena; his aunt, Carole Keeland; uncle, Jerry Lynn; and many Lynn and Mayfield cousins, step-siblings, and friends that he loved.
