Terril Max Miller, 61, of Springfield, went to be with Jesus on January 2, 2014. Born in Senath, MO, he was the son of the late Maxye J. Miller and Princess D. Miller of Springfield. Terril worked for AT&T for 35 years and was known as "the guy that could fix the problem." He loved sports, coaching youth baseball and basketball, and was an avid Drury Panther fan. In 2000, Terril was diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease and suffered many challenges, but found strength in his family, friends, and his faith in God. Terril is survived by his wife, Judy; son, Matt Miller; daughter, Amy Francis; mother, Princess Miller; brothers, Art Miller and Chris Miller; and sisters Marti "T" Ross and Jan Blazinic. His granddaughters, Olivia and Emma Francis were the light of his life and he deeply loved his nieces, nephews, all of his extended family, as well as those that were like family, including his caregivers, Linda Hudspeth and Darlene Hampton. Visitation will be Sunday, January 5 from 3:00 - 5:00pm at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 on Monday, January 6 at Springfield First Church of the Nazarene. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
