Teresa Elaine Sparkman went to Heaven on Christmas Day, 2018. Born on May 24, 1952, in Springfield, MO, Teresa was the daughter of Robert and Wilma Sparkman.

As she was a much-honored speech and debate coach, Teresa's legacy is in the thousands of students whose lives she influenced during her 37-year career at Cassville, Hillcrest, and Kickapoo (26 years).

Teresa is survived by her brother Ryan, his wife Lisa, and their daughter Stephanie. She also leaves behind her fiancé Bill Jordan and her best friend Kenna Wiggins. Teresa will be remembered for her style and grace.

Visitation will be held at Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel, Springfield, at 1:00 PM Sunday, December 30. A memorial service follows at 2:30 PM. Private burial will be at Payne Cemetery in Nixa on Monday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Teresa's name to The Alzheimer's Association.
