C. Ted Hutchens, 68, of Rogersville, MO passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021, in his home. He was born September 12, 1953, in Springfield, MO, the beloved son of the late Lewis Gene and Harriett Kathryn (Sherer) Hutchens.

Ted was a graduate of Parkview High School and studied Art at Drury University.

He had two great passions in his life, Alcoholics Anonymous and Monster Trucks and left an indelible mark in both of those arenas.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Gene and Todd Hutchens . He is survived by his children, Kathryn Rosen and Ted Hutchens III and their mother Ellen; brother, Jeff and his wife Jana Hutchens; and his four nephews, Ty, Tad, Taylor and Sage Hutchens, all of Springfield, MO.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 6, 2022, in Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home with the Rev. Billy Wear officiating. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery.
