Susann Welcome, 60, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013. She was born May 8, 1953 in Thayer, Missouri to Clarence and Johannah Schulz James. She is survived by her husband Fred, three sons Brett (Tonia) Welcome, Anthony (Emily) Welcome, and Claude Welcome, her father, two sisters, four brothers, nieces, nephews and countless family and friends. Susann was proceeded in death by her mother, and two sisters. Visitation will be Monday, September 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home in Springfield. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 24, at 11 a.m. in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Love Never Sinks (Lesch-Nyhan) Foundation in care of any local area U.S. Bank branch.
