Linda Susan Wilder, age 53, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2016 in her home. She had a stroke. A counseling psychologist known for her great empathy and kindness to her patients, Susan was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wilder, and her mother, Elizabeth Wilder, of Hamilton, Ohio. She is survived by an adoring husband, Eric Pervukhin, a professor of art at Missouri State University, a step-daughter, four step-grandchildren, three brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation and family-led memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the "Susan Wilder Memorial Fund" at Castaway Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) Adoption Centers www.carerescue.org.
