Sue Carolyn Shipman was born February 11, 1930, in Springfield, Missouri to Abby and Nell Marks. She invited Jesus into her life at an early age at Hamlin Baptist Church.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents; husband J.T. Shipman; son Gene Shipman; sisters Dorothy Visio and Patricia Boyd.

She is survived by her sister Charlotte Nitz; daughter Terry (Chuck) Oheim; grandchildren Lisa (Tim) Potthoff and their children Jacob and Alice and David (Elizabeth) Oheim and their children Bella and Landon.

The family is grateful for the care and compassion from the staff at Republic Nursing and Rehab, who have helped manage her care for the past seven years.

Inurnment with a private ceremony will be at Sparta Cemetery, Sparta, Missouri at a later date.
