Sue Ann Revis was raised in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on November 17, 1953. Sue was the only child of Joe Edd Revis and Martha Ann (Burns) Revis Nichols. She passed away on February 23, 2016 after suffering a fall in her home in Cave Creek, Arizona.

Sue graduated from Glendale High School in 1971. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from SMSU in 1975. Sue was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority while attending SMSU. She earned her Master's Degree in Colorado.

Sue worked as a teacher for over 30 years. She taught school in Mountain Grove, Missouri, the countries of Colombia and Panama, Springfield, Missouri, Colorado, and Arizona. Sue retired from teaching in 2010. She was a creative and dedicated teacher who touched many lives.

Sue grew up attending King's Way United Methodist Church in Springfield, Missouri. She enjoyed traveling with her mother, Martie, to Mexico. Sue especially loved her pets. She was an outstanding cook who enjoyed trying and sharing new recipes.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her first cousin, Nancy Jo (Revis) Reynolds, her husband Thomas Reynolds, and their two daughters, Kimberly and Carrie.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Gorman–Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, June 17 at King's Way United Methodist Church, 2401 S. Lone Pine Ave., Springfield, Missouri, with Pastor Jon Spalding officiating. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery.
