Steven David Planz, 78, of Billings, MO, passed away at 12:07 p.m., on October 4, 2025, at his home. He was born the son of Hugo A. Planz and Ruth Ella (Schrieber) Planz in Austin, Minnesota.

Steven was a member of Sheet Metal Local 236 Springfield, MO. He attended Aurora Methodist Church.

He loved and raised horses. Steven enjoyed family, fishing, and casinos. He is a beloved son, brother, husband, stepdaddy, and grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Myrna (Planz) Kruckeberg, and his parents. Steven is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; sisters, Lynda (Joe) Hodges, Austin, MN and Debbie (Pat) Perkins, Ramsey, MN; and three stepdaughters and their families.

Services will be held at a later date.
