Stephen "Steve" Martin Richards, 74, of Kimberly City went to meet the Lord on September 3rd 2023. He was born on October 11th, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Richards and his mother Betty Richards.

He married Ramona Riebold in 1967, and had three children: Stephannie Watson and husband Jeff, Steven Richards, Rachel Richards and her husband Keith. His grandchildren Ashley, Dylan, Kinley, Keenan and Kason. Great grandchildren Sadie and Kai. He is also survived by his brothers, David, Robin, Stan, Randy, Scott and his sister Susan.

Steve served in the Air Force for 8 years. Worked at Consumers for over 20 years and was a teamster.

He enjoyed going to the lake, fishing, playing golf and spending time with his family. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.

He was sober for the last 8 years. Which we are very thankful for. He would go to the jails to help those with addiction and talk about Jesus. He was a Christian and always had a strong faith in the Lord. His favorite bible verse was Psalms: 23 The Lord is my Shepherd… which brings us comfort on this day and every day forward.

Visitation will be from 12:00 - 1:30 PM on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Graveside Service with Full Military Honors will follow at 2:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
