Steve R. Michael, 62, of Strafford, MO passed away December 21, 2020 in his home. Uncle Stevie, as he was fondly called by some of his closest friends and family, was such a loving and fun Uncle to his nephews and nieces. Uncle Stevie always put others' needs in front of his own. He was married to the Love of his Life Molly for 39 years. The world has lost a great man.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Springfield. He was a Senior Client Account Manager for Navi Health.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey R. Michael; paternal grandparents Walter and Bertha Michael and maternal grandparents John and Cecilia Marino.

He is survived by his wife, Molly Michael of Strafford; mother, Joanna Michael of Springfield; brothers Jeff (Pam) Michael of Lee's Summit, MO and Ronny Michael of Summit, New Jersey; sisters Beth (Greg) Barker of St. Louis, MO and Erin Hesford of Springfield. All of his nephews and nieces will greatly miss Steve, and one of the greatest moments for Uncle Stevie was to be a part of Drew's and Rachel's marriage.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 – 6:30 PM on Wednesday, December 23 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 24 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
