Stephanie Marie Dills, 46, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on March 23, 2022. Stephanie was born on November 24, 1975 in Springfield, Missouri to Jeannette Ruth (Reynolds) Dills and Larry Ellis Dills.

Stephanie was a graduate of Ava High School and of the University of Missouri-Columbia. While at Mizzou, she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha where she created lasting bonds and life-long friendships with her sorority sisters.

Following graduation with a bachelor's degree in textile and apparel management, she embarked on a career in fashion merchandising and worked for leading fashion and sportswear brands, including Calvin Klein, Columbia Sportswear, Chico's, Sheplers Inc., and most recently Haggar Clothing Co. These opportunities led her from Kansas City, MO, to New York, NY and eventually to Dallas, TX. While she adored and cherished her time and the adventures she had in New York, she found that she preferred the winters in Dallas as well as the proximity to her family in Missouri and had found her forever home in Texas.

Stephanie was a devout Christian of the Methodist faith, and was a fiercely loyal and supportive friend, sister and daughter. She also proudly held the title as the World's Best Aunt.

Stephanie is survived by her parents; her sister, Larissa (Dills) Amrein and brother-in-law Todd Amrein; her beloved munchkins, nephew William Amrein and niece Lauren Amrein; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ellis and Alice Lea Dills; and maternal grandparents, Howard and Harriett Reynolds.

Visitation will be held at Schweitzer Church in Springfield, Missouri on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of life at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers you may honor and celebrate Stephanie's legacy and bless others, by giving to the Flourish Food Pantry at Schweitzer Church, 2747 East Sunshine Street, Springfield, MO 66804.  Arrangements are under the care of Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home.
