Stanley Thomas Long Obit Stanley Thomas Long, 94 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away in his home, November 18, 2011. He was born October 20, 1917 in Springfield, Missouri to Asa and Clara Buck Long. He was a Navy WW II Veteran. Stanley lived in St. Louis and Blue Springs, Missouri and retired from Glidden Paint in 1983. He and his wife, Jo Ann moved back to Springfield in 1984 and were members of First and Calvary Presbyterian Church from that time to the present. Stanley was a Master Mason with memberships in Springfield, Crestwood, and Kansas City, Missouri. He earned the Scottish Rite in St. Louis, Missouri. He also was a Noble of the Shrine of the Ararat Temple in Kansas City and the Abou Ben Adhem Temple in Springfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Fugitt Long on February 8, 1997; a daughter, Pat Kiefner on September 5, 2001; and a brother, Charlie Long. Stanley is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Brinner and husband, Tom; a son-in-law, John Kiefner; four grandchildren, Tim Brinner and wife, Lori, Bill Brinner and wife, Kimberly, Andy Kiefner and wife, Charity, and Beth Kiefner; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doris Wright. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 until service time in the funeral home.
