Solomon Hodges was born July 28, 1959 to Francis Hodges and Solomon Koonce in St. Louis, MO. Solomon relocated to Springfield, MO in 1984 after attending Business College in St. Louis to be near other family members. Solomon worked at various restaurants in Springfield. He loved cooking and spending time with his family and friends. Solomon attended the Eagle Heights Worship Center and loved hearing the word of God.

Solomon was preceded in death by his brother, Wilton Hodges; sister, Monica Hodges; aunts Sadie and Geraldine; grandfather, Frank James Hodges; grandmother, Verdia Lee Long and nephew Tori Hodges.

Solomon is survived by his mother, Frances Hodges; daughter, Dionne Pullman Duncan (Adam); son, Adrian Hodges; brother, Marlo Hodges (Evelyn); brother, Victor Hodges (Donna); brother, Jerry Wheeler (Anitra); uncle, Wadell Long; aunt, Daisy Tolliver; four grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
