Silas A. Phillips, 98, of Springfield, Missouri was born July 13, 1925 in Salem, Missouri and passed away August 15, 2023. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 25, 2023 at 11:30 AM in Gorman-Scharpf Brentwood Chapel. Burial will follow Friday, August 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Briar Street Baptist Church, 1361 East Briar Street, Springfield, MO 65804.
